On October 1st, 2016 our sister Brigid got married. She contributed to the blog for many years prior, and had been a crucial part of our singing career. After her marriage, we made the hard decision to close out our singing career (excepting certain special events), and our blog, Boyer Sisters, was set on the back burner. Having her move on in life really shook up our lifestyle for a while. It wasn’t until 2018 that we (Jessica and Charlotte) began to feel comfortable with our new normal to start up Boyer Sisters again. In that time of sabbatical, we rediscovered ourselves, drew closer to our Lord & Savior, and have come back to Boyer Sisters with a new + fresh perspective on life. We are excited to see where this new chapter takes us!
For many years we dressed in vintage/retro-inspired styles. This fit perfectly into our lifestyles as stay-at-home sisters pursuing a small career as an Andrews Sisters tribute group & vintage-fashion bloggers. After Brigid got married, we really began to re-evaluate our lives as individuals rather than sisters. As a result, we (Jessica & Charlotte) found that our old style as vintage fashion bloggers didn’t fit our current outlook on life. We have been having a blast bending the rules and discovering our own individual style + pursuits!
Brigid got married to the love of her life in 2016 and moved on from Boyer Sisters in 2017. She is pursuing her dream as a stay-at-home wife to her husband Gabe, and mother to the cutest little boy in the whole wide world (in our unbiased opinion 😉 ). In her spare time she is running her blog & pattern business, Brijee Patterns!
Charlotte uses Adobe softwares & Sketch for her web & graphic design and photography.
We use a Canon 6D with a Sigma ART 50mm 1.4/F
We attend Wilmington Reformed Church OPC
