Hey, you beautiful people! Wow, it’s amazing how time flies when you are having fun! And not having fun… 😉 Life has been super busy, busy, busy! The trials and triumphs that have come our way over the past few months have stretched me beyond my imagination.
Today I’m sharing a super laid-back, lazy weekend outfit. I was sent a couple halftees from Halftee (well, isn’t that redundant :P), and have absolutely fallen in love.
You guys. I never realized the world of clothing I had closed myself off from because the items were too low, skimpy-strappy, etc! Since receiving these new Halftees, I’ve had a blast perusing my favorite stores for items that I can wear my halftees under. I stumbled upon this jumper, and new it would be the perfect candidate! Everything about the style I loved: laid-back, chambray, modern, etc. Problem? The neckline & armholes are of that awkward cut where they just don’t quite offer enough coverage (you know what I’m talking about, ladies! 😉 ). Enter halftee! I layered my new Raspberry tank halftee under it, and not only did I add a stylin’ splash of color, but I also stayed cool & carefree because the halftee doesn’t have all the excess baggage of a camisole. Love it!

Gotta say I was a little wary of channeling my not-so-inner 90’s child vibes with the jumper + t-shirt look. Yeah, no thanks. How did I avoid this? A few ways:
- It’s all about the cut! Layering a tank under another tank can have a more modern feel than a t-shirt. Be careful that the straps contrast in width though! You don’t want to become, what TLC’s What Not To Wear (yes I watched that show lol!) used to call “Luggage Straps” 😉 Think broad straps under spaghetti, etc.
- Add chic accessories. Cute summer clogs, simple cross-body bag, delicate hoop earrings, minimalist hairstyle, etc.
Have any of you noticed my updated hair look? 😉 Yep, I got it highlighted! I have been wanting to get ombre highlights for a little while now, and it finally happened for my 18th birthday! I have been looooving my look, and it’s SO much fun to do my hair now! The hairstyles that I do show up way better with the contrast of color. Messy buns & braids have been taken to a whole new level!
Also, you guys have been wondering about my skin journey, and current skin care regime since I’ve switched to all-natural products! Well, I’m super happy to share! I’ve actually been writing all about this on B.Well (check out this post!), and Jessica and I are hosting a beauty night where you too can try & learn about the products we’ve been using too (and LOVING!).
