Hey girls! I wanted to pop in and share with you my inspiration for my wardrobe & overall style for the colder weather ahead! I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but we Ohioans are enjoying 70˚ sun in November, so I am quite curious to see what the rest of this season holds for us, haha! Regardless, I am still pulling out my Autumnal wardrobe pieces and getting inspired for how I want to further build up my closet towards a certain style this season.
As you can see above, I am all about classic wardrobe staples like breton shirts, simple wool skirts, skinny jeans, and basic tunics. I guess you could say the over-arching inspiration for my F/W wardrobe this year is verging on European-chic, a dash of bright color & novelty prints scattered between more muted hues & patterns, classic silhouettes, and plenty of class & comfort.

I have been discovering more and more lately just how much a put-together hairstyle can elevate your look. I have been holding back from wearing too much makeup these days, so I have instead been honing in my hairstyling skills and paying extra-special attention towards my growing locks, making them look as pretty & put-together as possible each day. I am a sucker for an effortless, slightly messy up-do, as well as intricate braids like a waterfall braid, so I will definitely be sporting such looks throughout this season.
Accessories like practical & well-made booties (I have been eyeing these beauties), as well as cross-body bags will definitely be my go-to. I am definitely not a hand-bag girl: too fussy, and I like to keep my hands free. And the weather in Ohio during the Winter months can tend to be harsh, so I want to make sure my feet are safely housed in a pair of boots that will withstand the snow & salt, while still looking fabulous.
What is inspiring you this Fall & Winter?
