Hello lovelies! I am SO excited to bring to you all this latest edition of our “Photo Booth Fashion” series! In the past with this blog series, I found our posts were a bit more complicated and long than I was originally foreseeing when I created “Photo Booth Fashion”, so for 2016 we girls took a step back and reevaluated where we want this series to go. Here’s what we’ve come up with: I’ve always loved doing styled shoots, and working out every tiny detail, from the hair & makeup, to the accessories, props, and scenery; and that is where I want to head with this series: 100% styled, in a way that provides wholesome, fashionable inspiration that you can pin to your pinterest, and reference later when you’re in a style rut. I never tire of looking through good editorials in fashion magazines, and I want to bring a little of that flavor to this post series. Sometimes you have to go to the extreme, and then taper back to what is achievable for you, and that is our goal for this series. Sort of a “cover girl” style picture, that still retains our high standards of modesty (both outwardly & inwardly) and artful style. They will be simple posts, featuring one image and a little caption of fashion inspiration.
So, with that said, let’s get onto today’s Photo Booth Fashion!
Inspired by the sweet treats & rose-y hues famous around Valentines Day, Jessica sports a dainty cream sweater, red skirt, and frosty pink accessories. Lipstick echoes the bright hue of her skirt, and adds an element of balance. Frosty pink is a delicate in-between color of the red & cream, and is tied in nicely with her hair bow and retro earrings. A simple, lovely, timeless look for Valentines day.
