Hello dears! Today I am bringing you a tutorial! But not just any tutorial, this is a hair tutorial.
With all of the clever vintage hair tutorials out there, I thought I would give you all a refreshing “break” from the fussiness that most 30’s 40’s and 50’s hairstyles come with, and show you how to treat this easy 1940s hair roll for everyday styling. Oh, and the best part about this tutorial? It’s only 3 minutes and 48 seconds! So you will be able to watch it just as fast as you will be able to do your hair (so long as it is curled…) 😉
P.S- if you can’t view it on the post, then take a look here.
As an extra to this extremely short, to the point, not really touchy feely post, I thought I would add a few good ideas and suggestions to bring some pizzaz to this very simple style.
- If you don’t want to curl your hair (remember, curling adds texture and grip), you could always do this hairstyle after you get out of the shower when it is nice and wet, and very moldable. It will hold just as well, and you can make about three pretty little buns at the base of your head to create a 30s look. Just don’t come crying to me when you see what it looks like after it has dried! Hehe!
- If your hair is curled, and it is a hot day outside, and you know how to arrange your hair in a smooth roll in the back, (a talent I do not possess at the moment *sigh*) then I would suggest you put it up in a continuous roll in the back too.
- Lastly, I ought to add that of course you can also add as many hair flowers as you want to. 🙂
Well, I hope you get a lot of use out of this tutorial, dears! Have fun, and be as creative as you can! 🙂
What did you think of this easy peasy hairstyle?
Have you ever put your hair up like this?
Blessings in Christ our Savior.
