Hey, hey, hey! The girls and I thought it high time we shared an update on what we’re up to with our singing career nowadays.
First off, I have to tell you a little story: Once upon a time, there were three little sisters. These three sisters took a trip to the Cincinnati History Museum (historically, the Union Terminal). Once inside the great rotunda, the three instantly wished to sing their hearts out with the old railroad tune, “Chattanooga Choo Choo”. They couldn’t, though, for fear of making a scene, so they silently wished and prayed that one day they could.
Well, these three little sisters are now all grown up (nearly all of them) and are going to live out their long-desired dream! Yes, dears, we will have the pleasure and joy of singing nearly all day long in the great big beautiful Terminal for the Museum’s 1940’s Weekend!* Our glee is immeasurable!
Take a look at the video below to find out more about this singing gig!
I also wanted to share with you a video that we recently put together of some footage that we took during the recording process of our latest CD “The Boyer Sisters“, as well as some commentary from us so you can hear from our perspective what it was like recording the music you hear on our album. We sure had a lot of fun, and we hope you do too as you watch the video. Enjoy!
Have you ever heard of the Cincinnati History Museum’s 1940’s Weekend?
What part of our commentary were you most surprised by?
Blessings and love to you all!
Jessica, the Eldest Sister & Singer
*This is most likely the last year the Cincinnati History Museum will be hosting this grand event due to some major renovations the Museum will be undergoing this time next year. The 1940’s Weekend will not be held again for a couple of years. So if you want to come, come this year! Oh, and of course you can stop by and see us while you’re there! Haha!
