Hello dears! I am so excited to share with you all some of the lovely Linden Lady pants that were made by my delightful pattern testers. It is such a weird thing to see a garment made from a pattern you designed being worn by someone else. A good weird! But I was positively overjoyed when I saw the delightful versions of the Linden Lady pattern that I am going to share with you today.
Theresa not only made one pair of Linden Ladies out of some lovely denim, but a second pair (with removable suspenders!) out of rayon as well! Doesn’t Theresa look positively splendid? You can read more about her Linden Lady pants in the post on her lovely blog Tmarie, here.
Emily of Vintage Dreamer made a pair of Linden Ladies for her sister out of… a sheet! Simply marvelous! Using nice cotton sheets is actually a very economic way of getting a lot of fabric for a small amount of money. And you get the same look that you would if you bought cotton yardage from the store. Sweet! I absolutely love how cheery and springy Emily’s version of the Linden Lady looks! You can read more about her version of the Linden Lady over on her blog.
Thanks a million to Emily and Theresa for not only testing the Linden Lady, but also blogging about it! And thanks to my other lovely pattern testers as well!
Have you made pants from the Linden Lady pattern yet? I would love to see! Just shoot me an email at: boyerfamilysingers(at)gmail(dot)com
Who knows, you might be featured on a future Linden Lady post!
Brigid, the Middle Sister and Singer
P.S. I am slowly but surely working on getting the standard sized version of the Linden Lady completed. Look for that in the coming months!
