Hello dears! Woah, wait a second… weren’t we wearing similar outfits in yesterday’s post? Why yes we were, because this week we are participating in Ashley of Bramblewood Fashion’s #1outfit3ways event! I am here to share with you all how we changed up our outfits for Day Two of the event. And just in case you missed it, you can check out the post about Day 1 here.
For this day’s look, we girls went for a bit more of a dressed up style. Say, Friday night dinner out at a restaurant type style. Both Jessica and I wore heels, though she wore her Toms wedges, and I wore my Swedish Hasbeens.
On Jessica: Dress: Target // Skirt: Handmade // Shoes: Toms // Headscarf: Borrowed from me // Butterfly Necklace: c/o Meadow & Fawn // Earrings & Bracelet: Thrifted
Jessica was very daring and combined three colors, red, yellow, and blue, with her black and white base of dress and shoes. If you notice, she pulled the red color out of her butterfly necklace, and echoed the yellow of the same in her headscarf, which also carries the blue of her skirt. Very clever combination of colored accessories!
On Brigid: Shirt: Thrifted // Skirt: Me-made // Shoes: Swedish Hasbeens Headscarf: Gift // Earrings: Vintage-Instasale
I went for a more, oh shall we say, Patriotic color scheme? It was sort of hard coming up with creative color combinations, seeing as I already had at least four different colors coming from my blouse. So I decided to pull out the red, white (more like light pink), and blue, and what better way of doing that then to wear some red, white, and blue earrings?
On Charlotte: Shirt: Mikarose // Skirt: Handmade // Shoes: Saltwater Sandals // Color Basics Flexi: c/o Lilla Rose // Necklace: Borrowed from Jessica
Since Charlotte has such a neutral base (who knew pink could be neutral?), she was able to add on some turquoise accessories with ease. I love how she chose just one color to be her accent. It provides for a very cohesive statement look.
Oh, and of course Angel had to make a cameo! 😀
It certainly has been interesting thus far, examining the outfits that we came up with, and the difficulties in re-styling them.
What do you think of our outfits?
