Hello there! We are SO excited to officially announce our “How We Wear Vintage for the Holidays” blog event! After our successful rendition of this series this past Summer, we girls thought it would be awfully fun to reintroduce it for the Holidays!
Now what might this blog series entail? As many of you know, we girls have a deep love for the mid-century eras of the 1900s, and gather much of our wardrobe inspiration from them. As a result of this, several of you, our readers, ask how we are able to pull it off. Well, that’s what this series is all about, only Holiday inspired!
What’s the schedule for this grandiose event? Take a peek below:
December 15th-20th
Monday: 1930s Holiday Fashions
Tuesday: 1940s Holiday Fashions
Wednesday: 1950s Holiday Fashions
Thursday: 1960s Holiday Fashions
Friday: Hair & Makeup for the Vintage Eras
Saturday: Contest!
Each day we will cover a different era, and each post will be divided into 3 sections: Back Then, Present Day, and How We Wore It, along with some fun facts about Christmas in each era.
We hope you all will join us for this event, and stay tuned for the big (amazing! spectacular! we girls wish we could participate!) contest at the end! Beware, however, that in order to be able to participate to the fullest in the big-bash contest finale, you will have to follow along closely with each of the posts leading up to it 🙂
