Happy Saturday my dears! How has your week been thus far? Mine has been an absolute roller-coaster ride. Those of you who follow me on Instagram will know that we’ve been dealing with a sick doggie (poor thing! Your prayers would be greatly appreciated!), and the back and forth, sorrow and hope have left our house in a whirlwind of emotions. I’m just thankful that things are starting to calm down now. Even in our sorrows God brings us joy, and comforts us in the midst of our anxiety.
I didn’t want to wear heels this past Sunday, even though I didn’t have to play piano, so I opted for my trusty ballet flats. It’s funny how certain combinations, i.e. twirly skirt + ballet flats, bring up picture in our minds of occupations, movies and people. This outfit reminded me of a ballerina, with her beautiful slippers, feminine dress, and effortless grace. If only I were as graceful as a ballerina! You should have seen my failed attempts at a pirouette. Nope! Those photos are not making it up on the blog!
The joy in the midst of sorrow that I mentioned above is not only the fact that our dear doggie companion (I can’t mention his name online. Rules and all that, you know. ;D) is home and doing better after two and a half days of being at the vet, but the encouragement from all of you! We’ve been gradually selling CD’s on our website (thanks to all of our followers who have purchased one!), and things as far as singing go are getting exciting. You, our dear friends, are what makes all of this worthwhile, encouraging us along the way to keep trusting in God’s providence and abounding mercy, and following the path He has laid our for us.
