Hello! Today I am going to share with you all my first ever makeup tutorial for my Healthful Beauty series! *Cue streamers and confetti* I couldn’t help but think just how wonderful it would be to come up with a makeup tutorial that was both vintage inspired and healthy for your skin, so that’s just what I did when developing this look.
This 1940’s inspired makeup tutorial is an easy, everyday type of look with no cat-eyes, crazy brows, intense eyeshadow, or any of those stereotypical methods of achieving a vintage look. Instead, I wanted to make this tutorial as low-key and practical for you ladies as I could. Although there are a few elegant, precision-based methods throughout this tutorial, I think you will find it very adaptable for both your everyday makeup routine, and any chance you may have to actually dress up in 1940’s garb. I hope you enjoy!
I am so thankful to the two companies who sponsored several fabulous products for me to use in this tutorial, that is: Cowgirl Dirt and Faerie Organic! They provide topnotch cosmetics, and I would highly recommend these companies to both those ladies who are looking for a healthy alternative to conventional brands, as well as to those just looking for another option for fabulous color choices and well-made cosmetics. Whether you are the in the first situation or the second, you get the best of both worlds: a good selection of fabulous cosmetics that are healthy for your skin!
