Hey all, and happy Saturday! Today I am sharing an outfit that I wore last Sunday to Church & a Bridal Shower afterwards. There is something so, oh I don’t know, refined? About showers. The simple treats, the lovely decor, the fabulous company, the opening of gifts… Showers are probably just about my favorite type of gathering (other than dances… those are the best 🙂
I wanted to wear something a little more laid back that could easily transition from Church to Bridal Shower, so I donned a very comfortable knit top (thanks, Jess!) and easy pencil skirt that stood in as a nice statement piece. To channel the comfortable style I was aiming after, I slipped on my favorite summertime flip-flops, and kept the jewelry simple with a sweet 1950’s choker.
The Bridal Shower was very fun, even though we got horribly lost on our way there… that wasn’t so great 😉 BUT! We found our way and had a lovely time once we got there, and that’s what counts, right?
Today we girls are going to be relaxing before a couple of singing events tonight. We will be performing at a local Strawberry Festival, and then later tonight with a band to celebrate their second CD release. Wish us luck!
