Hey all! Happy Saturday! Today we girls, per request, are going to share with you all the outfits we wore on Easter Sunday. Sound fun? Let’s get into it 🙂
On Charlotte: Handmade Dress (Find the Pattern Here!) // Shoemint Shoes // Belt: Target // Scarf: Thrifted
On Jessica: Handmade Dress // Toms Shoes // Thrifted Belt
On Brigid: Handmade Dress (Post Here) // Hand-Me-Down Shoes // Gifted Watch
These outfits actually have a rather funny story behind them:
On Easter Sunday, we girls had planned to sing a Mozart Alleluia for the prelude (which went really well, by the way). Typically for such an obligation at our Church, we would channel our “Boyer Family Singers Flair” and wear matching or co-ordinating outfits. Usually matching each other on Sundays can be quite natural and easy, even when we don’t mean to; so I think it is safe to say that we each just planned to rely upon our “innate senses” for our Easter ensembles. You can imagine our shock as each of us viewed the outfits we were bedecked in that really weren’t in the slightest… um… complementary, shall we say? Haha! We went right along with it anyway; and now that we look back at the photos, it really doesn’t look half bad! Actually, each outfit reflects our own personal styles so beautifully, and displays how three seemingly similar persons can be still so different.
Today we plan to finish up some singing and blog work, and then later see a Bluegrass Concert at a local theater (where we can only dream of performing in one day…). Yes, fun stuff 🙂
On another note: since our singing career and blog have grown so much over the past months, we decided that it was time to split the two on Facebook. Since so many of our blog readers depend on our present Facebook page, we determined that it would be wisest to create a new singing page. If you have liked our blog FB page, then you will still receive updates on our latest blog posts, etc. However if you would like to continue to see updates on our singing, be sure to like our new Facebook page, here!
