Hello Dearies! It’s looking to be a lovely Saturday around here, with projects to work on, the sun shining and Sunday fellowship to look forward to tomorrow. While we’re all contemplating the joys of the anticipated Lord’s day, I thought I would share with you all what I wore last week.
This past Sunday I was set to play the piano for service. I was going to wear one of my 1940’s swing dresses, my faux suede version to be precise, but it just didn’t really fit into my style anymore. I think I might be getting rid of it. Plus it was slightly too short for me to be playing the piano in, so I switched it out to this polkadot Ann Taylor number that I refashioned last year. You all may know that I typically like to wear flats when I play the piano, but for once, none of my flats really fit with this dress, so I went with my oxfords, and they actually worked pretty well!
To accent the cream polkadots and buttons, not to mention keep me warm, I wore my hand knit cardigan, and to top it all off added my hair bow from Poshmi. This bow is just SO cute! It goes with practically everything in my wardrobe! If you want your own, you should definitely check out Poshmi. The bows are so reasonably priced and are the perfect accessory addition to any outfit!
Tomorrow we are going to be having a fellowship meal at Church, one of my favorite monthly occasions. The food is always delicious, and the fellowship is perfectly wonderful too!
