Hello Dearies! A few weeks ago the wonderful Kellie from Accordion to Kellie, and shop Kellie Falconer Design contacted us asking if we would like to participate in her upcoming Blogger Stylist Collective, and style her Ivory Tulle Skirt for a valentine’s day outfit! A few more lovely bloggers are going to be participating in this event and you can check out their posts through the links below. But before you do that, do you want to see how we three girlies styled Kellie’s scrumptious skirt? Read on then, my dears…
How Brigid Styled It
Brigid said– “I felt like a sugarplum fairy in this skirt, it’s so light, fluffy, and well made! For this outfit I wanted to exude the colors of Valentine’s day from the tips of my red boots to the fibers of my hand-crocheted beret. Wearing Kellie’s delightful skirt finished the ensemble so completely, I felt like I ought to be on my way in a horse-drawn carriage to an old fashioned Valentine’s day tea.”
How Charlotte Styled It
Charlotte Said– “Oh how I love this skirt! The quality is incredible, but could you expect anything less than the best from such a delightful, well-thought out brand like Kellie Falconer Designs? I know that I couldn’t! I felt like a glamourous mid-century skater in this outfit, with my sparkly, decadent shoes from Bait Footwear taking the place of skates 🙂 I tied in the Valentines Day theme through the bright pop of pink from my tights, and the delicate, sparkly details of my ensemble, which remind me very much of a classic, old-fashioned Valentine.”
How Jessica Styled It
Jessica said– “Slipping on Kellie Falconer’s chic tulle skirt for a day of hearts, sentimental cards, and lots of sweets, is like slipping on the fluffy wrapping tissue found on a box of Chocolates. You’re instantly light as a feather, and very much in need of some dance practice and a good fast-footed swing partner. I assembled Kellie’s skirt with my homemade pink and black lace peplum, velvet dancing pumps, and swishy satin/velvet wrap. I really couldn’t have felt more lovely! Its almost like I stepped out of a 1950’s Norman Rockwell painting: could I be that gal who just had a night of swing’n fun? Or perhaps I went out with my father to a sophisticated dinner and had to be a good ambassador; bravely, yet elegantly facing down the dull faces of the big business men? The choice is up to you!”
For this event there were three (or five if you count all of us girls in the BFS studio) bloggers who styled this skirt. You can check out each of their lovely posts through the links below.
