Happy Monday! How has your start of the week been thus far? I have to admit that Mondays are the most dreaded day of my week… I sometimes wish that weekends would last forever and a day… or that we were on summer break, which ever comes first 😉 Brigid was sadly sick-a-bed today, so I’m taking over for her! Here goes!
This is probably the most comfy casual outfit that I own… composed of my new favorite pants and sweater (both of which just so happen to be the cat’s pajamas in this lady’s closet, literally), I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get enough wear out of –all right, I’ll be completely honest– these pants. These over-the-moon, perfection-in-made-in-twill, never-ever-ever-gonna-take-these-off pants. Yes, they’re that amazing! Thanks Brigid for making, and Jess for giving 🙂 I really never thought, when Jessica was fashioned this pair of slacks, that I would be this in love with them. Until she says I can have them after borrowing the lower half of the cat’s pajama’s one afternoon. Then I wear them over and over and over again. Yep, they’re that good.
But what about the sweater? Well, that’s another story.
I thrifted this darling find a few weeks ago when I scored big-time in the sweater department. I tried on this furry animal of a jumper, and I knew it had to be mine! Its fit, style, collar, cut, color… Oh yes, it had to be mine. We get home, and I promptly slip on my new sweater, proudly strutting about the house, thinking about how stylish and warm I am; until Jess smiles and says in her usual sweet, nonchalant manner, “Why Charlotte, you look just like a teddy bear in that sweater!” Oh… thanks… Yeah, just what I wanted to look like… a teddy… bear.
Oh well, I still wear it anyway, and laugh thinking about Jessica’s ironic crushing of my pride.
Oh, I LOVE those pants!! How cute and fun, especially for dreary winter days. And I love the sweater as well, I have one very similar that I found at a yardsale, the only thing I dislike about it is how itchy it is! (Wool, ugh.) I don’t think you look like a bear at all. 😉

I LOVE the sweater! The color, style, coziness, it is so pretty! (Don’t worry, you’re much too slim to look like a teddy bear. 🙂
My favorite clothing items would be my new purple slouchy hat that my sister made me, and most of my scarves. 🙂
This is random, but have you all ever thought about making a CD with recordings of your singing?
With love,
~Hannah
This is a lovely outfit!! It positively oozes comfiness. 🙂
(And as an older sister, I think I’ve accidentally said such things to my younger sisters as Jessica said to you. *smile* You seem to have taken it very well! You have a good sense of humor.)
I just wanted to say—-I love the setting for these photos!!! It looks like a truly beautiful downtown street. What a great background for these pictures!
I was scrolling the other comments, and saw Hannah asked if you would ever make a cd of your singing. I would be very interested in it! I love your voices!

@Hanna Langdon & @Khloe Grace–
Thanks SO MUCH for your interest, ladies 😀 We are dreaming of one day publishing a CD of our own, but because of the great expense of such a feat, we have been sadly hindered. Because of this fact, we have been considering hosting a fund raiser to fulfill the budget needs of hiring a recording studio. We’ll see where the Lord takes us 🙂

You know, “teddy girl” did not associate with teddy bears in my mind… there was a youth subculture in the 50s… and funnily enough, your outfit does have a bit of the overall silhouette of their style, though probably not the colours or style as such…
And “cat’s pajamas” is new to me, and I’m not sure I understand it properly. The things you learn!
That was exactly my thought when I saw the post title! I was wondering how Charlotte was going to pull that off…. 😀
Haha! The title & outfit were actually inspired by that 50’s subculture 🙂 Funny you caught that!
The Cat’s Pajamas essentially means “best” or “amazing” or “favorite”
Thanks so much for commenting!

I have a really pretty tunic and some dark jeans that I would gladly wear every day….. and, you look very nice in the sweater!
I don’t think you look much like a teddy bear in the sweater, although you do look quite cozy! The long ribbed section at the bottom makes it quite flattering and keeps it from being too bulky.
