Today I am going to be posting just a regular ol’ outfit for you all, as my original plans to do a COS didn’t quite work out. These outfit photos are the first we’ve ever posted where they were taken inside, instead of our typical outdoor/natural lit setting, as the weather outside was truly frightful; much too much so that we would never dare to venture out to snap a few pics! So here goes!
I threw this outfit together the other night, as a sudden burst of inspiration and motivation to stretch my typical style of Skirts with Tops, Dresses with Cardigans. I decided, instead, to take a plunge and layer my new top from the Gap over a favorite dress of mine. I slipped on the dreamed-up outfit the next day and… It worked! Even though the shirt was quite too long to hang at its natural length, a little tucking up and waist definition with my new favorite belt did the charm beautifully! I felt quite mime-ish/parisian in this ensemble, with the stripes and monochrome theme, thus the goofy picture of me above 😉
Oh, and did you notice? I got a hair cut! This style is really something different and very new to what I’m typically used to. Though I was a little disheartened with the cut at first, it has really grown on me, and I like my new style-statement 🙂 Also, Dad’s old Olympus film camera once again takes the stage! This beautiful contraption really steals my photographer heart, and I long to one day take it out for a spin, and learn how film photography works! Oh, the dreams a girl can dream….
