Hey y’all! Yes, we’re back from Bible Bee! And I have to say last week, however tiring, was AMAZING!!! We are all still recovering from being worn out, however. 😉
Anyways, I thought I would share with you all a post that I have been wanting to do for a few months, and that is a Pinspiration post, with pins that inspire me for my fall/winter clothing, etc.
Doesn’t that first picture above look creepily like me?!? It sort of freaked me out the first time I saw it. I mean, the hair, the hands, the side profile… those are all mine! Weird. That sweater in the second picture certainly looks cozy, doesn’t it? And that lady has stolen one of my favorite accessories for winter: A beret! Hmmm, is that fur? Nice!
OOOOHHHH!!! Aren’t those skirts and blouses absolutely to DIE for??? I’ll take each and every one please. New additions to my “to-make” sewing list. And this vintage inspired piece of artwork was too cute not to share with you.
Can you tell that I have cold weather skirts on my mind? I need to find/make some tweed additions to my wardrobe.
Speaking of tweed, aren’t these outfits from a Tweed Run absolutely lovely? These ladies’ outfits sure do show you that you can wear dress stylishly and femininely and ride a bike.
Oh, and another thing that has been on my mind lately is plaid. That plaid blouse on the left is lovely. And the outfit on the right reminds me of a feminine version of the lumberjack look, with it’s plaid flannel skirt, chunky scarf, and felt hat. I may just have to try that some time…
The backwards cardigan look has been something that I have wanted to try ever since I first discovered it last spring. I actually have worn it recently (yeep!) and loved it! It was like wearing a cozy regular sweater, only with a fun button detail up the back. And, what do I see in the second picture, but another plaid flannel skirt? I must make myself one… someday, once I find the right fabric… oh wait! I forgot I just found some plaid wool at Goodwill a few weeks ago! Hmmm… 🙂
What has been inspiring you lately?
What is your favorite look for fall/winter?
Do you think you could pull off that feminine lumberjack look?
And what about that creepy picture of that girl who looks like me? Anyone know where that came from, or who it’s of?
