Hello there, and a blessed LORD’s Day to you all!
Before I begin to talk about my Sunday outfit, I just want to elaborate a bit about Sundays in general.
I relish Sundays. I relish in waking up early and getting ready, both mentally & physically preparing myself for a morning of worship with my fellow saints in Christ. And (as we all do) I love very much looking forward to a blissful day of rest!
On most Sunday mornings, I like to pray first thing when I wake up. I have found that the LORD has blessed this effort of consecration to Him by instilling within my heart a sense of peace. This I hold onto all throughout His day. And I say hold onto, because I am a fallen creature, full of sin. Thus some Sundays can be filled with havoc, only because of what I have created to fulfill my own selfish desires. And after learning from so many trial & error experiences, when I give myself fully to Him, I find complete contentment in letting my selfish desires go, and letting love and compassion for others into my heart. He only is able to create a new man from the old sinful one. Blessed be the LORD my rock!

Now for my Sunday attire. A few weeks ago we Boyer ladies had the pleasure of thrift shopping at our local GoodWill (I can’t say enough about the value of this store! Its a treasure trove!), and one of the items I snatched up was this – Not Mint! – robin’s egg blue blouse. Isn’t it darling? Yes, I have a thing against popular fashion colors. Especially mint — the color is everywhere! (However I do remember pinning a few mint outfits to my My Style Pinterest board a few months ago, but I think now its safe to say that I am quite tired of seeing it EVERYWHERE!
I was a little uncertain as to how I would like the ribbon tie, but I never had to fuss with it, so its a keeper.
Also on the said GoodWill trip, I found THESE! I love everything about these darling heels; the color, the height, the peephole… yah, enough said. 😉
Once again my sister Charlotte has outdone herself with her photography, yes? Even on her off days she has a keen eye for detail and composition. And we all love her for it. Good job Lottie!
May your Sunday be filled with blessings, a thorough washing from His infallible Word, and laud and honor lifted up to Him in praise!
