Lately we’ve (Mom mostly, actually) been doing quite a bit of canning. Peach jam… peach jam… greeeeeeen (and yellow) beans; and with tomatoes ripening fast we should have more to preserve soon (can you say tomato sauce?). The good thing about all this food preservation (other than getting to eat it later on, of course 😉 is that glass, metal, water, and produce just so happen to be very photogenic… so of course, instead of helping can I was well… just look below 🙂

Out of all this work came scrumptious peach jam to bedeck our pancakes, waffles, toast, etc. And will hopefully last us until the next season (we’ll see about that ;-9 )
Mom canned these beans just yesterday morning. Brigid and I took charge of harvesting them the night before (take note, yellow beans are easier to pick than green beans. Why? Well, think about what color the leaves of the plants are…) I came up from my blogging work in the basement just in time to snap some photos after getting something out to the mail.
Can you tell I’m kinda addicted to photography? 😉
