I can tell that we are really getting into that summer weather because of a certain fact that I completely forgot about during my excitement over this season: fuzzy hair. Humidity and my wavy brunette locks simply don’t play nice. at all. So when I was trying out this hair tutorial the other day for a 60’s beehive look…. um…. my layers and wonky random new hairs stuck out aaaaaaall over the place… not quite creating the clean, sleek sixties look I was going for 😛 And of course (of course) we were kinda short on any decent hair spray to smooth those pesky hairs down, aaaand at the time I took the pictures, the bright, bright morning sun was glaring down on me… Thanks mister sun for revealing my ornery tresses! Ho-hum, oh well. By the time you read this post, however, I should have my hair cut preeeetty short 🙂 Maybe you’ll see it later this week 😉

Aaaannnyyyway, I stuck with ma’ do’ that I did (do’ that I did. ahem.) that morning and the fuzz went down as the day progressed 🙂
Oh *hem* I’ve come to the end of my outfit post and not a word on my outfit. Well, um….
The late 50’s early 60’s camping/casual looks and Summer meld perfectly together in my book, so I paired my new favorite pencil skirt with my “vintage camper” (as in a person who camps. Not the vehicle camper) shirt and…. Lovelovelove the look 🙂
Oh, and about the skirt:
Do you like casual/camping styles, or clean-cut sophisticated fashions during the summer?
