Yay!! I FINALLY got around to post up my second ever dress that I made… My first dress for this year… and my first spring/summer dress for this year 😉 Have I been keeping you too long? Sorry! It’s just been the fact that we haven’t gotten around to photographing my wonderful gown ’til yesterday… even though it’s been about a month since I finished it, and I have two other dresses that I manufactured waiting to be photographed 😛
FABRIC: Made from an old costume skirt… and found from our stash, so pretty much free 🙂
NOTIONS: From our huge stash of vintage buttons… free again!
Yes! This dress was pretty much free! Most satisfying to my pocket book, as I am trying to save my money nowadays 😉
As I mentioned in the above “Facts”, I made the dress from a costume skirt (see the post here) that had yards of fabric in it, that was just sitting up in my closet… yeah, one of them frosting pieces. So, Mom gave me the idea to transform the unwearable to wearable! and Make do and mend, eh? I’ve actually been planing on this dress for a while now– (maybe late last year?) but like my usual self, never really got around to it until I finally had to push procrastinatory me (hehe)
