Spring Tulips by boyer-girls featuring sheer tops
Hello again, dear readers! Today I (Brigid) have an outfit to help inspire you to be classy on Sunday. My inspiration for this Polyvore set was spring flowers. The image of the tulips seemed perfect for color inspiration, allowing me to build the outfit off of the wonderful coloring God has already given his marvelous creation.
So, how does this outfit work? The skirt and cardigan are neutral colors, the cardigan providing fit, which allows for the skirt to have flow to it. The Camisole adds a pop of color which is echoed in the shoes (you can chose flats or heels, doesn’t matter which). The green of the tulips is pulled in with the satchel, and its earthiness is brought out in the skeletal leaf necklace and earrings.
Bother! Now I wish it was spring so I could wear an outfit like this. But I suppose I, or one of you, could wear this outfit while it’s yet winter (though spring is just a few weeks away!) by switching out the three-quarter length sleeved cardigan for a full length sleeved one, wearing neutral tights under the skirt, and swapping out the cami for a long sleeved t-shirt. Hmmm… now I just have to go see if I have those things in my closet.
What other colors and types of tulips could you use for an outfit suited to you?
Would you like to see another C.O.S using flowers for inspiration? What flower?
Blessings on your Lord’s Day,
The Middle Sister and Singer
