So, for all you people who were wondering “what is that?” yesterday, I will now relieve you of your, um, … wondering!
To give you a quick clue before I reveal the “shocking” truth, Missy, you were right in thinking it was a handmade tag. But it wasn’t for a skirt.
|Do you like?|
Yes, yes, I know, so far on this blog all my sisters and I have worn is skirts and dresses. I LOVE those, but I did not vow to NEVER wear pants again. But, I won’t wear the low-cut too tight pants you see on most girls today (not without a tunic at least)*. So, my solution? Make myself a pair of high-waisted 1940’s style dungarees!

Just the facts:
|Lovely topstitching and pockets!|
I LOVE how they fit! They are very comfortable, with a slightly lower crotch than most modern jeans. I was able to use my new machine to sew them (although there was some jamming whilst sewing through multiple layers of thick denim).
*I have nothing against you girls who wear these type of pants. My family’s standards of modesty are different than yours. Different not better.
