I finally learned how to hand draw (AKA draft) my own pattern!
I’ve been longing to know the art of drafting your own patterns by hand, and this past week my lovely sister Brigi graciously sacrificed a bit of her time to teach me how to draft an A-line skirt pattern, based after a late 40’s design from a Sears and Roebuck reprint catalog that she has (I’ll show you the design as soon as I have a good picture of it; but for now, you’ll just have to be content with the tiny piece of paper in the pic below, envisage how the real thing looks.) 😉
Gotta dash! The girls are waiting for me to practice our trios/duets with them!
