Recently, another blogger did an “Awkward and Awesome” post on their blog. Inspired by this said fellow blogger, I will forthwith display events (that could or could not have possibly actually happened in my life) that I deem as worthy of being called “awkward” or “awesome”. So, without further ado…
-The above photo… most amusing… sister pretending to bite doggy’s toy… hmm.
-Walking into a fast food restaurant with everyone staring at you and your sisters because you are in matching dresses. (which, the matching dresses part, is not a bad thing)
-Having a near-mess experience picking up a toddler with a stinky diaper. Yay! 😛
-Forgetting what you were going to say. Does this happen to anyone else other than me?
-Putting popcorn in one’s ear, so as to make the dog (who has a penchant for popcorn) take it back out again. If you can understand what that means!
-Walking up to a group of people who are in the middle of a conversation, and commenting about something that you thought they were talking about, and everyone looking at you funny.
-Trying to tell a story when no-one is listening.
-My pose in the photo below.
-Vintage hats, and patterns (as in the photo above). And vintage-y sweaters with horses, houses and trees on them. 🙂
-My language in the intro to this post. 😉
-Three or four little girls all wanting to hold your hand at the same time, and wishing that you had enough hands to hold all of theirs.
-This quote: “If a man whistles at you, ignore him. You’re a lady not a dog.”
-Little girls with big smiles.
-Dancing the Virginia Reel to the music from the barn dance in “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers”.
-Three little girls all asking to sit by you at the dinner table, when you only have two sides for them to sit upon. 🙂
-A Wonderful Mom who is willing to sew three of the same style of dress for you and your sisters to wear when you sing at events.
-Being asked at least three times whether I am indeed taller than my older sister, “or is it just the shoes?”
-Staying up till 10:20 at night taking silly pictures of sisters with hair straight out of Star Wars.
-Winning “Superior” in vocal performance at a state competition.
-This post, which I will now end.
Hope you all enjoyed this. I certainly did. 🙂
Have a blessed week.
